Final Exam Preparation

Concept reviews are partially tailored to student needs. For example, if a student encounters a question about Resonance in S2.2 The Covalent Model section of Chemistry and either the teacher deems it necessary to review the concept or the student asks a question, the session will briefly pause to review the relevant concept before continuing.
“Goal: Solve over 1,000 questions with full answer reviews.”

Mock Exams
Lessons include interactive concept reviews with the instructor, followed by intensive question-solving practice by unit. Students review material before class and tackle problems in class. When conceptual gaps are found, the instructor may hold impromptu review sessions. (Excludes Biology)
Each student is assigned a TA who reviews their work live in real time. Since TAs are trained to anticipate student mistakes, explanations are delivered before incorrect patterns become habits. Students also receive feedback directly on their written answers, which helps improve accuracy.
In March and April, weekly mock exams using past papers from 2021–present will be given as homework. Students will complete these timed tests and then watch detailed video solutions to review mistakes. (Excludes essay subjects.) The final mock exam will be based on the November 2024 exam.

To maximize results in the Final Exam Preparation, participation in all three components—lessons, tutoring, and mock exams—is essential. Each activity focuses on a different type of problem-solving, and by engaging in all three, students will effectively review seven years' worth of past IB questions. This structure is ideal for students who need to maximize study efficiency in limited time.
That said, we understand that students may have scheduling conflicts or time constraints. Those who can only attend certain parts of the class may do so selectively.
